Gerard Butler just last week (a "considered love interest" to Jennifer Aniston) was seen out with Jessica Simpson, now a "confirmed love interest" of Jennifer Aniston is hooking up with another gal. John Mayer's new interest? Actress Rashida Jones.

As HollyScoop reports,

John was spotted on a romantic date with actress Rashida Jones Friday night at the Chateau Marmont, Hollyscoop can confirm exclusively.

The couple was having dinner in a secluded area when John "took the guitar from someone who was performing and at the Chateau and performed an impromptu performance for Rashida."

His audience included Paul Rudd and Jason Segel. The crowd "went wild when he performed his new song," an eyewitness tells Hollyscoop exclusively. Mayer got such a great response from fellow diners, he even performed his hit "Your Body is a Wonderland" for Rashida.

Jennifer Aniston hates dating. Who would have guessed, right? The one time girlfriend to many guys in Hollywood admits to Extra that she is not a fan of dating saying,

"Dating sucks," Aniston confessed, adding, "I just don't understand it, I find it bizarre." The 40-year-old says she has even "excused" herself to the bathroom during an uncomfortable date, and then "excused" herself out of the establishment.

So who is this new guy any who? He's actor Bradley Cooper, 34, due to star in The Hangover with Heather Graham. The actor denied any romance with Jen telling People magazine,

"I met her 3 times in my life,"

Jennifer Aniston is pissed and has a good right to be. Well, first off she should have never dated John Mayer to begin with. Jen has opened up to "inside sources" of the National Enquirer. Though we wouldn't believe the NE- they were right on the John Edwards affair and for that we can't completely rule them out.

"Jen is hurt and brooding that John rebounded so quickly," an insider told The ENQUIRER.

"She went on a rant, telling friends that John should be with such a younger woman - because he's so immature and juvenile."

Twitter Ruined Jennifer Aniston's Relationship With John Mayer

The truth is finally told as the breakup of John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston was over his obsession with Twitter. As reported by the Telegraph,

A source claimed Aniston decided Mayer was not committed enough to her and called time on their romance having found hourly updates on his Twitter page.

The source said: "John suddenly stopped calling her or returning her emails and when she would finally catch up with him, he'd say: 'I've been so busy with work. I'm sorry I haven't had time to call you back."

The source added: "Jen was fuming. There he was, telling her he didn't have time for her and yet his page was filled with Twitter updates.

Wow, typical guy! Huh Jen? So we guess all those love song serenades he mumbles is all just a bunch of bullshit. We knew all that 'girls become lovers who turn into mothers' was bull shit. Well, they can't with you John. Unbelievable! Maybe his next single will be some serenade to Twitter.

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer, Splitsville? That's the rumor according to E! News,

 A source says the pair's on-again, off-again relationship may have ended sometime within the last week, when Aniston returned from her overseas Marley & Me junket.

"He broke up with her when she got back from her European tour," the source said.

That's interesting considering we haven't seen any signs of a breakup? Although, both busy with projects we would not be surprised if what they are trying to keep alive just isn't there.

The moment at which Jennifer Aniston had the closest shown interaction at the Oscars last night with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt came when Jennifer was on stage to present the award for Best Short Film.

When Black made a joke about how all Pixar films win Oscars, Aniston said, "I apologize Mr. Katzenberg [Jeffrey Katzenbergis the co-founder of Dreamworks], I don't know why we let him out of the house."

As Aniston walked off stage, Jolie and Pitt both clapped.

So it went off without a hitch and it seems as though Jennifer and Brad can leave 2005 in 2005.
