Fresh From 'Gossip Girl,' Hilary Duff Tops Nylon In January 2010

Hilary Duff has had many successes in her still young career -- in January 2010 she tops Nylon magazine and talks about some of them. Her most recent project, guest starring on Gossip Girl as Olivia Burke in which one episode she shared in a threesome.

On Gossip Girl:

“I was a little hesitant.  It was kind of close to home… then I realized, I would never say something [that Olivia says] like, ‘Oh, this is just for the cameras.’  I think that’s what makes me so different from some of the other people my age.  It seemed for a time there were people who hated each other – and I knew they hated each other – but they were in pictures together all the time, smiling and throwing their arms around each other.  I was like, “You’re in the same business I am – how can you do that and feel okay?  I so wouldn’t do that.”

Hilary Duff Promotes New Clothing Line In InStyle

Hilary Duff appears in the pages of InStyle magazine in September. The Duffster is promoting her new clothing line Femme with DKNY Jeans. She just wrapped filming for her guest role in the new season of Gossip Girl.

The new season of Gossip Girl premieres September 14th at 9pm on the CW.

Hilary Duff To Appear On 'Gossip Girl'

Watch out Serena and Blair the Upper East Side may never be the same once Hilary Duff moves into the neighborhood. As Entertainment Weekly is reporting the actress is due to star in multi-episodes of Gossip Girl.

The actress-designer-pop chanteuse will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience. She ends up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) so it's safe to say she'll be majoring in Drama!

The episodes with the Duffster are due to start airing on October 5th.

We wonder if she will share romantic interests with a hockey player in the show as she does in real life? That could stir some stuff up with those girls... show them that a toothless boy is better than a pretty boy. LOL

Hilary Duff to star in the new Baywatch. Actually this isn't true... because Baywatch isn't being remade. Although stranger things have happened, here isHilDuf running on the beach in Hawaii yesterday looking all kinds of hot.

For that all we can say is 'Wow,' that kinda makes us want them to bring Baywatch back and maybe even cast a little Hilary Duff!

Hilary Duff Speaks Out About Her Fued with Faye Dunaway

Hilary Duff is answering back to the reports of Faye Dunaway upset on the casting of Duff as Bonnie in a remake of Bonnie and Clyde. What Dunaway doesn't understand is fans of Duff who will see the film were probably born sometime in the 80's and 90's thus not even knowing the original Bonnie as Dunaway.

Duff appeared on today's Bonnie Hunt Show saying,

 

“None of my fans even knew who she is. She started acting way later than I did so I think I have time to grow and grow with each project. I am learning and work hard at my craft.”

 
Bonnie chimed in on the subject telling Duff,

“I think even Faye went through a time, if you look historically, where some people might have said that about her. She has great beauty but she proved herself.”

 
Duff went on to say,

“It’s not ok for people to take stabs at you and to say mean things for no reason.”

Bonnie is a real class act comforting Ms. Duff who has been nothing but charming. We feel it was an unfair criticism by Dunaway when in turn it should have been flattering that Bonnie and Clyde had such influence on American culture that it deserved a remake

Hilary Duff Receives Criticism For Being Casted In New Bonnie and Clyde Flick

Hilary Duff who is poised to play Bonnie in the upcoming remake of Bonnie & Clyde entitled: The Story of Bonnie and Clyde is gaining some criticism from the original Bonnie Faye Dunaway.

 

According to the Sun Times, Faye Dunaway commented on the casting of Duff for the role she originally filled saying, “Couldn't they at least cast a real actress?''

 

Duff responded in a taped interview on the set of her new movie Ghostwhispher as reported by E! News,

 

"I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don't even know who she is," regarding the Hollywood legend (repeat, Hollywood legend), adding, "I think it was a little unnecessary, but I might be mad if I looked like that now, too."

 

Maybe Hilary Duff and Beyonce could use some bonding time. The harsh criticisms of old Hollywood are really taking a toll on the New Hollywood lately.
