Kiefer Sutherland Headbutting Charges Dropped

Kiefer Sutherland is free... of charges in a case where he headbutted designer Jack McCollough, breaking his nose for what he claimed that the designer was making advances on Brooke Shields.

As the Yahoo News reports,

Sutherland and McCollough issued a joint statement a few weeks later saying they had resolved their differences. Sutherland apologized to McCollough in the statement.

Sutherland's attorneys declined to comment Tuesday.

Ahh, just like hockey players- fight on the ice, then go out for beers together after and laugh about it.

Kiefer Sutherland Is All Clear, Makes Nice

Remember that head butting episode where Kiefer Sutherland headbutted designer Jack McCallough at a New York after party? Sutherland claims that McCallough was making an indecent pass at Brooke Shields that Sutherland didn't approve of. Well now Sutherland will not face charges and has made up with the designer. As People reports the statement Sutherland's camp released to the AP,

 "I am sorry about what happened that night and sincerely regret that Mr. McCollough was injured," Sutherland said in a joint statement released to the Associated Press.

McCollough said in the statement: "I appreciate Mr. Sutherland's statement and wish him well," according to AP.

Kiefer Sutherland Headbutted Designer To Protect Brooke Shields?!

To sum up this whole story: The Met Gala was held on Monday night in New York City and Kiefer Sutherland headbutted a designer who "was a threat" to Brooke Shields. How ever, Brooke's camp seems to deny the designer was ever a threat to her. Whether or not the designer actually touched the actress is still to be determined as TMZ reports about this big story over apparently... NOTHING!

Shields' reps tell TMZ the man Kiefer headbutted Monday night in no way did anything to Brooke that would have warranted the alleged attack.

As we reported, witnesses say Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCullough knocked Brooke to the ground at an after-party for the Met Costume Institute Gala in NYC Monday night. But Brooke's rep says "nothing happened to her," adding "Jack did nothing inappropriate. It's not clear what caused Kiefer to do what he did."

Witnesses say Kiefer went up to Jack and demanded he apologize to Brooke. Jack allegedly pushed Kiefer and Kiefer then headbutted Jack.

Who the hell even knew Jack Bauer... we mean Kiefer Sutherland had it in him.
