The election is over and as Greta Van Susteren goes back to interviewing Sarah Palin and her husband, and her husband's best friend, and showing the gavel she used while mayor of a small town in Alaska- Barbara Walters has gone on to bigger and better things such as the Barack Obama interview. Next on her list is SNL great Tina Fey.
Though there is still question as to what the future holds for Sarah, she did help Tina become the hit actress of the year.
The question since the first Fey portrayal of Palin on SNL hit the airwaves was if she was being too mean to her?
Hollyscoup reports in the interview with Walters, Fey said,
"I never did feel that we were mean to her. We stuck to a lot of things that she herself had said, and I think there is a very strange double standard because it's a woman portraying another woman. The jokes we used to do about George W. Bush were that he was an idiot. The jokes were aggressive. No one would ever stop and say, 'Oh, that seems kind of mean."
She was voted as one of Barbara Walters "10 Most Fascinating People of 2008,..." that's Tina, not Sarah of course!
